I never thought that exercising could be so much fun!

When I decided to walk for my exercise I did not realize how much I was going to love it.  Winter has so many beautiful colors and shapes; the wind, the snow and the waves are always working together to create new forms.   Everyday is different and  and I love the solitude that winter brings. I also had the chance to meet the snowy owl this year and find out where he or she likes to live during these cold winter months.   I loved seeing this gorgeous bird!

Winter Wonderland in Watch Hill

Napatree Point Beach in Watch Hill is one of my favorite places to walk during the spring, summer and fall but from December through March, I hardly ever walk  on this beautiful beach.  This year, as part of my new year’s resolution, I will walk five days a week during the winter months.  This year I will be also taking my camera on my daily walks and  I will take pictures of the beautiful winter days.

Holiday Open Studio

What a wonderful open studio we had this weekend, it was full of interesting work and great people.  Thank you to everyone that made to our Above Elite open studios.  I am excited to announce that we will be open Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 noon till 7:00 pm until December 23, 2014.  Come and find my photography, jewelry by Dora Szekely, paintings by Laura Gaffke.  Looking forward to seeing you!
